Tip of the Week!

Our first Tip of the Week sets the bar so high that even the Olympic Pole Vaulting Gold Medalist couldn't better it!

When your wife makes you an offer that seems too good to be true, and she actually delivers on it, just say "OK, dear, you have a deal"!

New Feature! Tip of the Week

We're introducing a brand new feature so keep a look out for it!

Avoid breakfast injuries!

When your wife comes down to join you for breakfast, do make sure that you are not swallowing some food  or drinking a cup of tea in case she winks at you. Otherwise you might choke and splatter your 22 year old daughter, who has no idea about what's going on.

Bread-making Support

Here's today's Big Idea: When your wife asks you to check the bread-maker "because it's not working", and there are two of them, one that has signs of life and the other does not, DO NOT ASSUME that the one with signs of life is the one that's working! Don't, for example, start playing around with the one with no signs of life, especially if it has dough in it. It might just be that this one is in the middle of a program and fiddling with it will screw up all the hard work your wife has put into making it!

Rashi Script: Learn to read it in 10 minutes

Are you ready to learn Rashi Script in 10 minutes or less? Here is how:
  1. View the chart of the Hebrew letters in Rashi Script to the right. (Click here for a printable version.)
  2. Look at the letters and the Rashi Script forms. You will note that most of the letters are basically the same in both forms. Those letters (about 18 out of 27) you now know in Rashi Script.
  3. That leaves about 9 letters that are not trivial to learn. Some of these are pretty similar but not as similar as the group above. Make a note of them and spend a minute familiarizing yourself with them. That should be enough for those letters.http://www.dictionary.co.il/rashi_script.php
